Saturday Savers Club Progress week 39 - Powered up 118 HIVE and bought some more DBOND

Its week 39 (30/09/23) of my savings focus for 2023 with the Saturday Savers Club which I think is a great Hive community initiative run by @shanibeer writing as @sally-saver on the @eddie-earner account.

My focus for the rest of the year is:

• My annual HP target of 10K HP,
• Growing my holding of investment tokens,
• Delegating HP to a number of good community curation accounts.

This weeks pic - my wife and I went out on the town in Edinburgh last night to celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary ! We spotted this new feature at the West End. Animations are being projected onto the Johnnie Walker building. It was the first time we've seen it, and it looked pretty cool !

Weekly commentary

• I gained +118 HP this week, which is above the weekly average of 85 HP I need to hit my year end goal - so thats great !,
• My HP total is now 8879 HP. This time last year I had 1970, so have gained 6909 HP over the last year,
• I need a further 1121 HP to hit my year end 10K HP target, which at 13 weeks to go requires 85 HP per week (down 3 per week). 85 HP a week is still a lot, so I will have to keep focused to manage that,
• I completed my initial delegation to @pinmapple of 100 HP, as part of my new community curation delegation project. I also delegated 95HP to @curangel - so thats coming along nicely too,
• I gained +2.13 EDS this week. I'm not on track to hit my year end target, but shouldnt miss it by much - I'm ok with that. I will get to 100 EDS at some point in the new year, via passive growth, which is great,
• I gained +2.68 DAB this week which is my highest weekly DAB gain so far, and a nice increase on last week due to buying more DBOND in the second batch sale the previous week. DAB is currently selling for around 5 HIVE on hive-engine, so that makes this a nice little earner at the moment (although I am re-staking the majority of the DAB I earn for further gains of DBOND),
• I also bought a little more DBOND in the batch 2 sale, bringing my total up to 692,
• I didnt buy any more DRIP this week, so my gain of +0.342 DRIP was just from the DRIP I currently have staked,
• I also gained a further 11.903 PWR tokens from my HP delegation to @empo.voter, and what I have in the PWR:swap.hive pool.

Plan for the coming week

• To continue to make sure I post daily to ensure daily HBD and HIVE author rewards,
• To be active in HIVE Blog curation to help with HIVE curation rewards,
• To continue to increase undelegated HIVE in order to improve HIVE curation rewards,
• This weeks delegation of 20% of my weekly HP income (24 HP) will be going to @curangel and @curie , as part of my project to support community curation accounts via HP delegation,
• I'm keen to buy some more DRIP in the coming weeks, although it will probably be in fairly small amounts - but it will soon build up,
• I will be selling HBD payouts from posts for HIVE in order to power up more towards my annual HP target, especially while the price of HIVE is so low - its making quite a difference to that target at the moment.

In summary, its been another good week. I'm very happy with my HP increase which was mostly from post payouts and curation. I'm also happy to see my passive income slowly growing across a number of areas including investment tokens - so thats all good too !
