Saturday Savers Club Progress week 47 - one week away from hitting my 10K HP target !

Its week 47 (25/11/23) of my savings focus for 2023 with the Saturday Savers Club which I think is a great Hive community initiative run by @shanibeer writing as @sally-saver on the @eddie-earner account.

My focus for the rest of the year is:

• My annual HP target of 10K HP,
• Growing my holding of investment tokens,
• Delegating HP to a number of good community curation accounts.

This weeks pic - We went into town during the week to see the Christmas Market that is set up here in Edinburgh. The town centre is lit up with lights which was lovely to see. This is the fountain in Prices St Gardens, and behind it is Edinburgh Castle which sits high up over the city centre on its pillar of volcanic rock (called a tor).

Weekly commentary

• I gained +129 HP this week (1 HP more than last week !), which is really good - again thanks to a number of good post payouts,
• My HP total is now 9943 HP. I need a further 57 HP to hit my year end 10K HP target. I've had some great performing posts this week, so I already know that I will hit that during the coming week - woot woot !!!!. 10K HP has been a long time coming, and I'm struggling to believe that I'm almost there now !,
• I delegated another +19 HP to @ocdb to bring that total to 86 HP. This weeks delegation will bring it to over 100 and I will now continue to take all 5 of the delegations to those great community curation projects up to 250 HP each. These great accounts do a lot of good in providing upvotes to various content here on HIVE and as such its important to make sure I'm also supporting them via these HP delegations,
• I gained +2.35 EDS, with my 2013 HP delegation to @eds-vote bringing in +1.57 EDS of that gain last week. I wont hit my year end target of 100, but I'll get close,
• I gained +1.496 DAB this week, which is a little lower than my 12 week average, however, it is awarded via a mining lottery, and some weeks you do better than others - not this week for me ! These are currently going for between 2.9 and 3.5 HIVE each on Hive-engine, so thats still a nice passive weekly income,
• I gained +2 DBOND taking my total to 710. I'm happy to see both DAB and DBOND increasing each day passively due to their staking synergy !,
• I gained +0.609 DRIP this week, which is all passive gains from the small holding of 35 DRIP I have staked. I want to continue to get more DRIP and will buy more over the coming weeks. The next target will be to gain 1 DRIP passively each week which will need around 60 DRIP staked,
• I also gained a further +0.892 PWR tokens from my HP delegation to @empo.voter, and what I have in the PWR:swap.hive pool. I'm looking forward to hearing more developments from this project, although that probably wont be confirmed until well into 2024. I'm working on the principle that being an early adopter will pay-off when its investing/payout aspects kick-in,
• I also had 3 HBD:HIVE trades go through for a total profit of around 1 HIVE this week. So it was pretty slow this week, but its still a gain.

Plan for the coming week

• To continue to make sure I post daily/regularly to ensure daily HBD and HIVE author rewards,
• To be active in HIVE Blog curation to help with HIVE curation rewards,
• To continue to increase undelegated HIVE in order to improve HIVE curation rewards,
• To continue with HBD:HIVE trading now that the price is back in my trading range. I'll also be adding some additional funds (in small amounts) to my trading capital each week, which will help grow the gains over the long term (albeit slowly),
• This weeks delegation of 15% of my weekly HP income (19 HP) will be going to @ocdb, as part of my project to support community curation accounts via HP delegation,
• I'm keen to increase my stack of DRIP, and will continue to buy more over the coming weeks in small amounts here and there,
• I will be continuing to sell HBD payouts from posts for HIVE in order to power up more towards my annual HP target, especially while the price of HIVE is still so low.

In summary, its been another great week. I was very happy with my weekly HP gain again. I'm very close to the 10K HP mark which is awesome. The ~3% APR on 10K HP alone brings in a further 6HP a week, plus curation on 10K HP at 8% works out at around 15 HP per week (although I've got a lot of HP delegated so I wont get as much as that). So its great to see what a difference that amount of HP can make - plus it means I can give it better upvotes to the content I like here on the blockchain !

My Tribe Token Investment Project

I undertook the second rebalance on my new tribe token staking, delegation, curation and rebalancing experiment on my @hoosieboy alt account yesterday. On the whole the methods are working together to increase gains, although I've discovered that a few of the delegation accounts are not currently working, which is a shame.
