Saturday Savers Club Progress week 48 - Hitting 10K HP and buying more DRIP

Its week 48 (02/12/23) of my savings focus for 2023 with the Saturday Savers Club which I think is a great Hive community initiative run by @shanibeer writing as @sally-saver on the @eddie-earner account.

My focus for the rest of the year is:

• My annual HP target of 10K HP - achieved !!!!!!!!!
• Growing my holding of investment tokens,
• Delegating HP to a number of good community curation accounts.

This weeks pic - shows the swans in our local park. I took it a few weeks back. The two with the brown feathers are this years chicks where are nearly full grown when the pic was taken. I'm actually sure they will have flown away for winter now, especially noting how cold its gotten here in Edinburgh in the last week (we even had a light dusting of snow this morning).

Weekly commentary

• On monday this week I passed the 10K HP mark, which I've been working towards for quite some time. To say I was happy about it is a bit of an understatement. I hit that target with 4 weeks to go, which wasnt too bad,
• I gained +168 HP this week which is another great gain for one week - so I was very happy with that. And very surprisingly, my 12 week rolling average is showing a weekly average income of 193 HP which is quite amazing really. I'm quite surprised at that, and I dont expect to be able to keep it at that level,
• My HP total is now 10,111 HP. It will be interesting to see how much more I can put away before the end of the year. I will certainly be setting another HP target for next year, but I've yet to figure out what number I will be aiming for,
• I delegated another +19 HP to @ocdb to bring that total to 105 HP. The next target is now 250 HP, so I'll just keep going until I hit that,
• I gained +3.35 EDS, thanks to another 1 EDS win from @shanibeer with the saturday savers club. My 2014 HP delegation to @eds-vote brought in +1.7 EDS this week and the rest was from the mining lottery for holding EDSMMs (I have 120 of those),
• I gained +2.2 DAB this week, which is higher than my usual gain, so I cant complain about that,
• I gained +2 DBOND taking my total to 712. Its nice to see that steadily growing each week too,
• I gained +43.735 DRIP this week, most of which was a purchase from the market. I was really wanting to increase my total holding because the daily payouts are so good, so I went ahead a bought a nice chunk. This will bring in more than 1 DRIP a week passively, and I've also upped my DRIP target to 100 and will continue to buy it in bits and pieces over the coming weeks,
• I also gained a further +0.851 PWR tokens from my HP delegation to @empo.voter, and what I have in the PWR:swap.hive pool. The rewards from the pool went up a little this week, which was nice,
• I also had 5 HBD:HIVE trades go through for a total profit of around 1 to 2 HIVE this week. Not huge, but its still a gain.

Plan for the coming week

• To continue to make sure I post daily/regularly to ensure daily HBD and HIVE author rewards,
• To be active in HIVE Blog curation to help with HIVE curation rewards,
• To continue to increase undelegated HIVE in order to improve HIVE curation rewards,
• To continue with HBD:HIVE trading now that the price is back in my trading range. I'll also be adding some additional funds (in small amounts) to my trading capital each week, which will help grow the gains over the long term (albeit slowly),
• This weeks delegation of 15% of my weekly HP income (25 HP) will be going to @ocdb again, as part of my project to support community curation accounts via HP delegation,
• I'm keen to increase my stack of DRIP, and will continue to buy more over the coming weeks in small amounts here and there,
• I will be continuing to sell HBD payouts from posts for HIVE in order to power up more towards my annual HP target, especially while the price of HIVE is still so low.

In summary, it was an awesome week. Hitting 10K HP was fantastic - I was so happy to finally get there. Its making a big difference to my general income across APR, curation and delegation which is providing further gains. Heading for 20K now does not feel dauting, although I doubt I'll hit it within a year. I was also very happy to increase my DRIP holding. The DRIP daily payouts are so good at the moment that I wanted to get more of that action while the APR is still good. I think this high APR runs until around the end of June next year - which will be great.

I havent undertaken my next rebalance, but will do sometime this weekend (probably today). The project appears to be working nicely, and now that some of the cartel curation accounts have started working again, that will also help.
