I'm really not sure, I don't know anything about trees and leaves !lolz
All I can say is that I don't remember this kind of things the previous years, with lots of leaves on the ground before the majority turns to fall colors. But I read many articles saying the Midwest (of which Michigan is part) will get the best colors this year. So we'll see...
