Twitter is Now X
Twitter's logo just got changed! The little blue was the official logo of Twitter, but now X will be visible in its place. Twitter owner Elon Musk has said that now Twitter will open when X.com is opened. Now Twitter can be called X instead of Twitter. Although the Twitter.com domain will also be active, nothing can be said about how long it will be active.

Twitter is X now. You will reach Twitter as soon as you open X.com. Twitter's logo change from a cute blue bird to X is a huge rebranding move. If you hear me say that again and again, that is because I am still trying to wrap my head around the change.

Now we will see X in place of the cute little blue bird. Now you will not Tweet, maybe what we do now is a Xtweet I do not know what is the term for microblogging that we would be using now.
It seems that Twitter’s owner Elon Musk has completed preparations to end the Twitter brand and now a new era of this micro-blogging platform has begun.

Now a new URL (X.com) has also come with the logo and name of Twitter. With this rebranding, there are so many questions that are bound to arise. Answering them would not be the easiest thing to do.
Twitter has been an established brand that has taken years of hard work to build so why kill it overnight?
I am sure Mr. Elon Musk would be having some strong reason to do something so drastic.

Is this change merely limited to the name or do we see other things coming along?
If the answer is a Yes then what are the changes coming along it is anyone's guess.

Are bigger changes in the pipeline?

Twitter is or shall one say was a free to use Web 2.0 microblogging platform. Yet a brand needs ways to generate revenue so surely Mr. Elon Musk has some big plans behind bringing X to life.
One school of thought suggests that one thing on top of his mind would be to generate maximum revenue from this new X.com platform.

Was this Mr. Elon Musk's Plan all along?

Elon Musk had hinted about his plan while buying Twitter. He had stated that buying Twitter would prove to be a big step and now we see it is in the direction toward the beginning of X.

Twitter has been running into losses for a very long time and Mr. Elon Musk bought it by paying a lot of money, so obviously he would also like to earn a lot of money, but he also knows that this work cannot be done only from Twitter, so he has started making big changes according to his strategy. First money for verification and introduction of Twitter Blue and now this new brand revamping strategy.

The change started in April itself.

Apparently, what Mr. Elon Musk wants to provide would not only be Twitter like microblogging services but also other services on the revamped X platform.

Mr. Elon Musk had converted Twitter into X Corp long ago. Since April this year, Twitter had asked its partners to use the X Corp name for official transactions.

X will work on the lines of everything App

Elon Musk has been a fan of the Chinese app We Chat.
Long ago he had made it clear that he wanted to bring something like We Chat. WeChat is a super app in China in which all kinds of services are available.

The concept of a super app is to bring a bouquet of different services in one app. In We Chat services like social media, payment services, ticket booking services, gaming services, and other utility based services are provided from within a single app.

Twitter's new era as X could be anything but boring

We get to people and when they move away we miss them. The same is our association with twitter.
It is changing and change is part of life and we have to go with the flow and accept that come our way.
This is essential to keep a healthy balance and upbeat mood to deal with the changes of life.

Now the logo change is official and perhaps it is a new chapter being written for this micro blogging platform. The blue bird logo is history and people would fondly remember it as the logo of twitter which itself has got renamed and rebranded as X.com.

Apparently, Elon Musk has communicated to his employees via an internal email communication that they should use the name X instead of Twitter.

Nothing has been said about the new user interface at the moment. Time would tell what all changes for the platform and if there is a new user interface that is being worked upon.

The association between Elon Musk & X goes back a long way

In an old tweet, Musk had said that he likes the letter X. This statement came quite a long time back in the year 1999. This was also the time that Mr. Elon Musk had started X.com.

Back then he was associated with X.com as a co-founder. Later Musk merged it with his other startup PayPal. PayPal is currently one of the largest payment gateways in the world.

Back in 2017, Elon Musk bought the X.com domain from PayPal. Now Twitter is redirected to X.com, that is, if you open X.com in the browser, you will go to Twitter (X).

Final Thoughts

Only time would tell if it was necessary to kill the tweety bird to bring X to life.
X could be one step toward the everything app
An interface that users would trust and use to
hail a cab,
send money to family & friends
make payments at stores
Do some microblogging
How well would the user base of twitter take this change? Would it embrace it or would it take its users closer to Web 3.0 platforms like leo threads which is decentralized and when users post of the platform the upvotes they receive translate to crypto that they receive in they leofinance wallet.
