Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge - Weak Magic
Howdy guys, hope everyone is doing alright, back again for my Secret mage challenge post of the week here in splinterland and hope you are all well and doing alright.
For this week our given ruleset is the week magic ruleset.
The weak magic ruleset is a very simple and straightforward forward ruleset, we are accustomed to magic monsters dealing effect straight to the health of a monster regardless of how many Armour the monster card is packing.
The weak magic ruleset alters that norm and instead of magic dealing it's usual damage straight to health it deals damage to the armour instead which makes it's function as ranged attacks and melee attacks do, the rule is simple to follow and strategize around.
The best way to counter or play this rule in your favor is just to pack monsters that have a considerable number of armour and can do a fair amount of damage at the same time.
As always my strategy fell on the summoner Tarsa's bosom, she gives an extra melee attack and an extra life to all her cards and she costs only 4 mana, which is very good and effective for my strategy.
For my first position I had chaos agent cause I had 1 mana left and didn't wanna waste it, my positioninv began with Antoid platoon cause he cost just 4 mana and has a considerable defence, my attack cards were positioned afterwards, I had Chaos orc and Mad ogre followed by my favourite card the gobalano soldier, this cards were strategically positioned for maximum effect, the gobalano soldier has the Ambush while the ogre and chaos orc had a considerable attacking power and i was rooting on them to deal the most damage.
My opponent understood the ruleset as well and went with really good defensive and melee lineup just like me, so it really boils down now to our cards stat and abilities cause both parties understood the rule perfectly and went with a good line up to maximise the rule. At the end of round 4 I just my chaos Orc left and no else and from there it was pretty much a lost cause
My opponent won simply cause he had a better choice of cards and my chaos orc was not positioned properly he was dormant throughout the first 2 rounds and went away lastly, well every loss is an opportunity to restrategise and position my self for a better win, I believe I will get it more accurately next time,
HERE is the link to my battle.
CONCLUSION
This is what makes splinterland amazing one misstep in your strategy, one bad turn or one mis position and the game is pretty much over, I believe my lineup was good just not well placed but that's the game you win some and loose some,Drop your suggestions on how I could have made my strategy better in the comment section.. thank you guys.
Remember to share your epic moments and rebellious strategies with me. I'm here to cheer you on every step of the way and maybe steal your strategy 😁 #play2earn
