My Actifit Report Card: August 1 2024

Hey Actifitters,

More of the same again yesterday, hot and humid, and Le Chat looking all day as she just woke up...

And once again, in addition to various minor activities inside the house, the main one was our daily walk with Kaia.

Behind the front yard, Kaia was wondering if we'd see Le Chat, or if she'd prefer hanging out inside like the day before.

And here she was, trying to be stealthy at first. If I close my eyes, you can't see me, right?

But then she couldn't resist, it's not as though they hadn't seen each other just minutes before...

After their cuddle time, we were on our way to the forest with Kaia.

Kaia said 'Screw the mosquitoes, I'm going in!'

Which means I had to follow! But at least, I managed to direct her towards the short trail. I really didn't have it in me to stay in the forest too long.

It was just a few minutes, but I think by the end, Kaia agreed with me and wanted to get out as quick as possible.

Luckily we were quickly back to the street. I don't see much progress in the road construction but almost every day I see new heavy machinery. I guess something must be happening.

In spite of the clouds, we caught a few glimpses of the sun starting its descent.

Since our tour in the forest was so short, we added some distance in the neighborhood streets.

And back home, Le Chat was there too greet us again. At least we know she does like us, well Kaia at least...

Not my most active day, but we've had much worse with this kind of weather and the mosquitoes situation. Hopefully that's enough to stay one more day in #Macfit Olympics.
