My Actifit Report Card: August 12 2024

Hey Actifitters,

Back to the weekday routine yesterday, and unfortunately this week, there's a lot of big meetings going on. Even remotely, I have to join most of them. So, every time I could, I quickly went in the yard to hang out with the furry clowns!

But Kaia also wanted to do her thing, which is inspecting the entire yard very thoroughly.

So Le Chat, after a bit of 'will you play with me?...' decided to also do her own thing too, which is doing nothing...

Finally, late afternoon, when all these meetings were over (when you work with West Coast colleagues, late meetings happen regularly), we started our daily walk with Kaia.

Darkness was upon us even before we made it to the forest.

I was worried Kaia would be suffering from the longer walk the day before, but she seemed okay.

Our walk was shorter though.

In the darkness, I usually just follow Kaia on the trails.

Unless she catches an interesting scent and goes off the trail!

When that happens, she often comes back several minutes later. Who knows how many critters she found during all that time.

I was surprised to still see the very last sunset colors.

But we of course finished our walk in complete darkness. The night sky was so clear!

Perfect for a Moon shot!

And that was it for the day. These meetings are planned for most of the week, so let's see what kind of activities I manage to sneak in.
