My Actifit Report Card: August 15 2024

Hey Actifitters,

As expected yesterday, in spite of the big meetings being over, there was still lots to do at work. But once again, to enjoy a bit of the outside, we took multiple breaks in the yard. Kaia and Le Chat are always happy when they get company.

We also managed to start our daily walk a little earlier. So even though the weather was a bit grey, we had more daylight.

In the last yard before the forest (it actually opens directly into the forest), we saw again a large group of deer, including the one on the cover pic and the one below.

We left them alone to walk on the trail.

But again, Kaia showed signs of weakness very quickly.

And since I was very annoyed by the mosquitoes again, we just went to pick up a Cubiverse vault and starting walking back home.

The deer were still there, but less friendly this time, they ran away when they saw us.

It's a little blurry, but can you see the small cat on the right side? It reminded me of Le Chat who often acts tough in front of the deer, because she knows Kaia will have her back.

We added a little distance in the neighborhood, but really not much this time. When I talk about the short trail in the forest, the whole walk is still over an hour. But this time, we barely walked 45 minutes.

That's why I decided I needed more activity and went for a run. Not too long, a little more than 4 miles, but my fastest so far this season. I am making progress, yay!!
