My Actifit Report Card: September 2 2024

Hey Actifitters,

To finish the long week end yesterday, we stayed in the area again, and basically had the same usual activities. The weather was perfect to stay outside though: sunny and cool! First, we joined Le Chat in the yard, she was on the prowl.

But when we went behind the front yard with Kaia, she was happy to follow us.

We had to leave her there though when we went to the bigger forest.

We weren't the only ones enjoying the great weather in the forest. As often, lots of deer out there.

Yoy might remember how much I like to catch the sun through the leaves around sunset. You can do that during the day too of course. And it's so unusually green right now, it's beautiful!

After a few critters chases, Kaia didn't seem ready to give up "They're still here, I can feel it"

We also went a bit more off-trail than usual because I wanted to hunt a few mushrooms (there is a small chance I will eventually put together a post for Fungi Friday. Who knows, anything can happen...). Plus that's more terrain for Kaia to inspect.

And we can also find other friends. This one was a young one, you can still see some white dots. No worries by the way, it's a zoomed-in photo, I didn't let Kaia get anywhere close to it.

After our walk, and a few espressos of course, I went for a run just before nightfall, about 10k. A little slower than I hoped but still a very decent pace, somewhat in line with my targets. Let's see how we can step up the training.
