My Actifit Report Card: December 29 2024

Hey Actifitters,

Yesterday was a terrible weather, rain all day. Yes I know it's not obvious with the cover picture, but without seeing the sun all day, I decided my Actifit post will show the one from the day before. But that's what it looked all day unfortunately.

As usual, Le Chat was like 'No, that ain't for me', while Kaia was more like 'Come on, it's not that bad'...

Just before nightfall, we thought the rain slowed down a bit, so we took our chances. We only went to the forest behind the front yard though, I didn't want to get caught in heavy rain too far from home.

Well, it didn't slow down for long and clearly I need to upgrade some of my old waterproof gear. Just a few minutes in, I was already soaked. Kaia on the other hand seemed to enjoy it as always.

For once, I think I probably should have listened to Le Chat, she avoided the rain while doing what she does best. That's how we found her after our short walk.

In the end, except for that quick forest walk, all my steps were indoors. Really not an exciting stepping day, and my first fail in the #poprzeczka competition. Hopefully the weather gets better in the next few days. It's supposed to finally get colder when the new year starts, hopefully it comes with some snow as well. I still haven't decided if I'm flying to my hometown for a few days though. Surprisingly even just a day before or even on the same day, I can still find cheap flights, so I keep changing my mind. Final decision on Tuesday itself, either I leave in the evening, or I will go only in a few weeks.
