My Actifit Report Card: January 15 2025

Hey Actifitters,

Yesterday weather was a bit similar to the previous day, with mostly grey at first. I had a few things to finish at work anyways. Kaia and Le Chat waited somewhat patiently...

But again in the afternoon, the sun came out while the clouds went away.

So you guessed it, we quickly went out with Kaia.

We spent more time than usual in the small forest behind the front yard because I knew we'd find some views on the sunset.

And Kaia can still run there like a puppy!

But eventually we headed to the bigger forest of course.

As soon as we got there, Kaia sensed something was there. It wasn't difficult to be honest, even I could see them.

As soon as the leash was off, Kaia was on their tail. Can you see her on the right jumping through the fallen trees, while one of the deer is fleeing on the left?

I thought the sun was fully gone, but we caught a few more glimpses through the trees.

They were still around...

It's like they're taunting Kaia and she falls for it every time!

We took our time to enjoy this beautiful weather. Temperature in the mid 20s F (around -5C), it's perfect for our walk. I don't need to wear too many layers and Kaia is safe. If it gets below 20F, I have to make sure her paws don't get burned by the cold surfaces she walks on. But we can still enjoy the outdoors even if it gets much colder, like it's forecasted next week.

After a while, Kaia showed us the direction out of the forest, so we followed.

Even more than an hour after sunset, it was still quite bright.

Seems I'm stuck around 20k steps these days. Not bad, but also not my best. In a few days, it won't be enough to clear the bar in #poprzeczka competition, so let's see if we can do a bit better in the next few days.
