My Actifit Report Card: February 16 2025

Hey Actifitters,

We didn't get as much snow overnight as the forecast said, but we did get another couple inches at least. Overall, that's close to 10 inches for the week, not bad!

Like I mentioned many times, Kaia really can't hide her excitement when it snows.

She buries her entire head in the snow and loves it!

Of course we didn't stay only in the yard and started our daily walk behind the fence.

It's even more fun, with more obstacles!

We were only missing one thing, the sun! And here it was just before we made it to the forest.

For a while, it was a battle between the sun and the clouds, and it could go any ways.

But it gave us some very good views. I know we're very close to larger roads (it's difficult to forget since we can even hear the cars) and Detroit is only 20 minutes away, but when we're in the middle of the snowy forest like that, I feel like we've escaped to some far away lost winter wonderland.

We walked for quite a while and it started snowing again. That was weird because the sun was still trying to fight it way back into the sky. Both sun and snow at the same time!

Back at home, guess what Le Chat was doing? Of course, her favorite activity for any kind of weather, sleep!

Well, it was a nice day. I barely made it above 20k steps, I was hoping for a little more but walking in snow is really more tiring, so not bad.
