My Actifit Report Card: February 23 2025

Hey Actifitters,

In spite of the mostly gloomy weather yesterday, we were motivated for yet another long walk to the forest. When we started, as usual, Le Chat pretended not to care.

But I knew she couldn't resist seeing her sister play in the snow. She started getting closer, avoiding to walk in the snow.

And when we went behind the front yard, she just had to join. Of course, since she's not a fan of having her paws in the snow, she quickly climbed up a tree. She was so hyper!

And Kaia too: " Le Chat is here!!!"

"Come on down!" But Le Chat mosty stayed in the safety of the tree.

So after a while, we left her there and went to the forest.

As often on weekends, we had a little bit more time to explore some areas in the forest.

With the temperature just above freezing point, the snow was melting, but there was still a decent amount. Look at Kaia sinking in the soft snow.

The sun started making timid appearances from behind the clouds.

But it stayed mostly hidden, so we cut back one last time through the forest to get us on the way back home.

Beautiful views on the way back home. With the melted snow puddles, it was good for reflections. I kept a few photos for a reflections post. Let's see if it ever gets written...

And finally, just as we arrived back at home, we met a group of deer. They didn't seem too scared of us, but kept their distance of course.

For once, I was planning to work on a few things at home. I wasn't super efficient, but at least my car is now much cleaner (so much hair from Kaia in there!). I just need to get the winter tires mounted and we can take it for our ski weekend up North Michigan. And the bar was cleared for #poprzeczka competition. All good!
