Secret battle mage challenge: Heavy Hitters
What comes first to a summoners when they see the heavy hitters ruleset? Basically its could a clash between melee attacking monster, as I've always iterated splinterland gaming is all about strategy your come up battle strategy will go a long way in determing the outcome of a battle a simple misplaced monster lineup setting can result in battle loss which makes every battle entry unique and special.
All units in the lineup gains the knock out ability giving each lineup monsters a certain ability that can boost their attacking strengths in this ruleset there are no limit to what monsters to be used in the arena as one could come up with magic, range, melee and so on such ruleset makes it difficult for players to second quess what their opponents will be likely coming up with.
Simple tip for this ruleset requires a summoners to come up with a stunning monster which can help trigger the knock out ability using high slashing attacking melee and range monsters can boost one chance of winning as well.
In this ruleset my opponent came up with earth summoners while I did use water element to counter my opponent strategy it was a long streak fight clash below is the battle link.
Battle ruleset
Heavy hitters ruleset is very straightforward but also need good battle strategy to win as these battle can require use of all abilities monsters but specifically using a stunning ability monsters can be a boost for a summoner.
When the knock out ability gets triggered an opponent can take more damage which means it can be best adviced to use stun monsters when taking out an opponent but for this ruleset both team focus on using magic attacking monsters for their strategy.
Battle detail
Foe this ruleset 28 cost mana cap was given for both summoners to come up with their lineup monsters my opponent came with earth element monsters while I used water element monsters against my opponent.
Slight arrangement in my lineup cost me my victory although the battle was really a daring one as my opponent was also well prepared with their lineup.
Battle lineup
DJINN OSHANNUS My first lineup monster as a tank can take good attacks from an opponent magic monsters with it shield as well it can take the first melee attack from an opponent which make this monster very suitable for tank position its ability to evade 50% attacks from magic monsters makes the tank very unique.
RIVERBOAT CAPTAIN this monster can cause multiple health effects on an opponent lineup when it attacks an opponent tank the monster next to the tank suffers attack as well.
MERDAALI GUARDIAN the use of healing ability monsters can't be overlooked in any battle settings as they always help support tanks with additional health when affected.
SPIRIT HOARDER here is another magic monsters that gives friendly backline monster healing when they have taken damage from opponents.
MERDHAMPIR a life leech monster with range attacking ability it can only attacking from behind when it tank position it loss it ability to attack as it attacks an opponent it gain additional health.
Battle strategy
My lineup was a bit floored the moment I added range attacking monster at the backline since we can't predict what our opponents will be coming up with we need to be always ready for unforeseen obstacles.
My tanks was best suitable for this ruleset and my riverboat captain was also in good position my strategy was to land good attacks on my opponent tanks with my magic monsters which directly affect an opportunity monster health my tank and my second lineup and fourth lineup monsters were suppose to do this task while my healing monster kept supporting all my tanks.
The battle was heated up but in the end my opponent still managed to beat me by my strategy.
Battle arena
The battle arena awaits both summoners to come up with their lineup monsters who will emerge winner at the end of the battle round I guess it will be decided in couple of battle rounds. The battle lasted nine rounds with both team monsters taking a good damage from the battle my opponent managed to escape my ferocious magic rage.
Round 1 the battle arena is set its five against four both team came up heavily with magic attackers with both sides having healing ability monsters in their lineup at the end of round one no monster was eliminated.
Round 2,3 at the end of round three my opponent tank got eliminate from the battle creating an opened for my lineup to attack more.
Round 4 this round took out my tanks as well we are both vulnerable as our tanks are out of the battle.
Round 5,9 the battle was game over for me when my tank got eliminated my opponent healing monsters got rid of the rest of my lineup monsters.
