Secret battle mage challenge: Little league
Little league battle ruleset demand lots of intuitive strategies as it generally requires use of monsters with low cost mana cap these monsters generally have small heath, low attacking speed and shield in generally low cost cap monsters don't find use in battle as much as monsters with high mana cap.
A good combination of low cap monsters in any battle arena can be very formidable when a splinterlander knows how to combine his card collections in the arena.
How to combo your little monsters
Your tank should have good health or be a healing monster
Support your tank with a healing or shielding monster
Include monster with reach ability, reflection or blast ability
Magic attacking monster can be used to quickly eliminate opponent tanks
Opportunity or sneak ability monsters can increase chance of winning.
While sometimes a splinterlander could be out of card option when choosing their lineup monsters for little using the above tips can be quite helpful.
For this battle ruleset I used water element monsters to take out my opponent with their death element monster.
Battle ruleset
Little league battle ruleset only summoners and units with cost cap mana of four and below will be used for battle lineup that been said monsters with mana above 4 will not be used in this ruleset such battle with little cost mana will only last few rounds as both line monster summoners health stats are not high enough to take damages from other monsters.
Interesting the ruleset doesn't limit use of element with special abilities monsters with different abilities can be used in this ruleset without limitations.
Battle detail
For this battle ruleset 42 cost mana cap was given for both summoners to come up with their lineup monsters for this ruleset my opponent came with their death element monster while I'm using water element monsters for my come up battle strategy intriguingly we can't use up the given cost mana for this battle I took out my opponent with their death element monster with my water element monsters.
Battle lineup
XENITH MONK My first lineup tank is a melee attacking monster with shield and good health stats best suitable for little league battle lineup it can only attack from frontline position.
PIRATE OF EIGHT My next lineup monster has the reach ability and blast ability it can only attack from second line position it blast ability can also affect any monster adjacent to an opponent tank.
MERDAALI GUARDIAN For this ruleset one will need healing supporting monster the MERDAALI GUARDIAN will support my tank with plus three health.
MOXIAN REBEL a magic attacker it is a friendly monster that gives adjacent monster it ability it can attack an opponent tank.
SCAVO HIRELING A shield ability monster it protects my tanks with additional shield after each battle round.
PELACOR BANDIT My last lineup monster is a sneak attacking monster it can attack an opponent backline monster with good it can swiftly attack an opponent backline.
Battle strategy
My strategy for this ruleset was basically to protect my tank as far as I can from being eliminated first few rounds and secondly to quickly eliminate my opponent tank as fast as I can.
Using the healing monster and the shield monster will help protect my tank while it stays few more rounds in the battle on the other hand my second lineup monster with it reach and blast fire ability will do damage on my opponent tank and adjacent monster next to my opponent tank my two magic attacking monsters will always focus on my opponent tank, my backline sneak attacking monster will take care of my opponent backline monsters.
My strategy did worked out my my tank was able to take few rounds damage with the support of my healing and shield monsters my opponent ends up accepting defeat at the end of fifth round.
Battle arena
The battle arena lasted five round each team came up with good formation lineup monsters but this time the battle tides was in my favour as I took out my opponent swiftly both team monsters did strike hard and thrive for victory but one team will have take the victory.
Round 1 My opponent did not come up with tank with high health stats which makes it got eliminated at the first round opening the lead for victory.
Round 2 at second round few monster have been eliminated from both team my backline monster is out of the battle.
Round 3 Another monster out of my opponent lineup leaving the battle with three against four no chance for my opponent.
Round 4,5 the battle have been decided my opponent monsters will have to accept defeat while I'm crown winner this time.
