Splinterland social media challenge: my splinterland journey

Somethings in life are meant to be coincidental! What about venturing into world of gaming? Are they luck? or just another coincidence in life sometimes fate bring two things together and my splinterland journey begins like an intertwine journey that's seem to be never ending one.

My journey in web3 gaming started with splinterland little did I know one can actually get paid for playing games, with my not so much idea about blockchain technology back then in 2021 I stumbled upon this thrilling gaming platform, my first splinterland encounter could be trace back to when splinterland was still on steem blockchain although back then I did not pay attention to the game I only saw couple of articles from splinterlanders back then I had no interest at all in gaming.

I happen to come across splinterland back then (steem monster) on steemit blockchain ever since then it has been a thrilling experience for me till date not a day goes by without engaging with the blockchain game.

Duration of Participation

Over the time of my engagement with splinterland game I've played a total of over 6,400 battles and still counting with highest rating of over 1,200 although I discovered splinterland earlier but did not quite start playing without a spell book.

Note Playing splinterland is free for everyone to participate in the battle but in order to activate a splinterland account one need to purchase what is called a spell book a spell book unlock and activate a player account and gives them access to their account keys so they can participate in game purchases, staking buying of NFTS and more activities enjoyed in the battle arena.

In summary creating an account in splinterland without activating/purchasing a spell book limits one to lots of gaming opportunities what are you waiting for start by creating an account hereand get unlimited access by purchasing your first spell book.

Time Spent in Splinterlands

Well I must admit playing splinterland is really fun especially when you keep winning each battle, although back then players can battle countless time in the arena, now energy has been introduced which limits player to 50 energy, each energy when depleted can be replenished every one hour or can be bought using splinterland token.

With the newly introduced energy battery I've got to strategise and manage my splinterland playing time, that been said I dedicate one to two hours of my time playing splinterland in the morning at my convenience I play sometimes before going to bed as well.

I guess if you enjoy and love what you're doing you will make time for it I create time out of my daily schedule to play splinterland which doesn't interfere with my daily activities.

Upcoming Goals

Can't actually count the numbers of chess loot rewards packs I've opened since my adventure starts here in splinterland among which I've opened several rare, legendary and common cards including some juicy portions to boost my chance of winning more legendary cards.

A must go card on my watchlist is the bloodlust card will love to get one of them soon this will be one of my go goal this year I'm also looking forward to increasing my SPS holding and staking more SPS token increase my playing hour to increase my chance of opening more rewards also I've been stacking more rebellion region cards and will move to keep buy and holding more.

Take note for beginners

The honest truth: nothing good comes easy its either your workout hard by dedicating your precious time and device good strategy to earn good rewards from playing splinterland game or you invest money into buying good card collection and token to boost your playing skill and chance of winning in the arena and stake to earn more token.

In splinterland its either you win or loss battle and to win battle you need to play game which require having some good card collection for your battle if you want to be an investor you can buy and rent out your cards to other players.

A beginner take note is to have some spare time to practice and understand how the game works, there are shorts videos out their that can help new players understand how the game works all it takes is your time and dedication.
