Splinterland social media challenge: share your battle!

Greetings summoners! For this week social media challenge I decided to deep delve into more excruciating strategy that took my opponent by surprise. Since the introduction of rebellion booster pack and some of it amazing tactics and strategies I've been uping my entry strategy into the arena lately I've been using dual summoners double healing monsters to take out my opponent for this week social challenge I will be showcasing another interesting battle formation.

Battle formation used

1. Used dual summoner unit monster.

2. Used dual taunt monster selected from different summoners.

3. Combined fire and death element monster.

4. Battle type ruleset fog of war.

Battle hints

Monsters do not have sneak, and snipe ability this means all melee attacking monsters with sneak will be of little effect in this battle: using them will put a summoner lineup on the losing side.

Summary go for monster with either magic, range a strong tank could be melee with good speed and attacking power.

Battle ruleset and details

Fog of war ruleset limits snipe and sneak monster from fully penetrating an opponent lineup sneak monster usually attacks an opponent backline monster while snipe attacks monsters with snipe ability randomly.

For this battle ruleset 38 cost mana cap was given for each summoner to come up with their lineup monsters for this ruleset I came up dual summoner using death and fire element while my opponent came up with water element monster below is the battle link for this ruleset.

Formation strategy

Tank 1 for my tank one I used a thorn ability monster although I knew there are less chance for my opponent to come up with melee monster as tank but the probability are high with a thorn monster as tank I can easily have more effect on my opponent melee tank.

Tank 2 and 3 taunt monster

My second tank is a taunt monster with magic attacker.

My third tank is a fire element monster with taunt ability.

My other supporting monster are both fire element monster.

Line 4 scavenging monster
Line 5 range attacking monster with close range ability.

My strategy

For this battle ruleset I used two taunt monster to take out my opponent the strategy was simple since taunt monster takes all the damage in any battle with two taunt monsters on my lineup my opponent will have to first eliminate all my taunt before they focus on my other lineup monsters.

While my opponent are busy attacking my taunt monster my close range attacking monster will take out my opponent lineup with aid of my tank.

Turns out my strategy works out as planned.

The battle lasted 10 rounds with only my tank eliminated from the battle at the end of the battle.

First round went well with no monster eliminated from both sides.

Forward to round 9 all monsters from my opponent side are eliminated with only one which of course can't stand all my lineup monsters.
