Celebrities Are Trying To Take Your Money
Wow!! Never stayed this long without writing here, this is the reason I didn’t want to stop my writing streak in the first place, but I must say, it felt nice taking some break after a long time of consistency. I needed that, well, here we are, I am writing again, reminding myself of something I used to do that made me feel good. The past week has been good and sad for some crypto traders because celebrities are beginning to take advatage of their influence. Last week I saw iggy Azalea post a contract address, which means that they are shilling crypto. We have seen how celebrities shilled lots of cryptos and crypto projects in the past that ended up failing badly.
Most of these celebrities don’t know anything about crypto and sadly they don’t care. They are just there to make money, Iggy Azalea who is a known pop star created her own token called mother, this token surprisingly did better than I expected, Caitlyn Jenner also launched their token, I don’t know how it’s going, but I am not expecting any huge success from that one. The most disappointing one was the $Davido meme coin by the famous Afro beat artist Davido. He launched a token and was said to had dumped on his followers who bought because of his influence, this happened less than 24 hours after launch.
Helping prove the point that no celebrity truly cares about their fans or crypto, they just want to money off their followers or fans. Taking crypto investment advise from celebrities is one very bad mistake, never ends well. Most of them don’t know anything about crypto.
