How Do You Control Financial Anxiety?

I envy people that don’t get anxious about their finances, they are always on auto pilot, whatever happens, happens. They can leave their money with anyone or keep it anywhere and not feel anything. They trust people with their money and don’t get anxious. I have never been in any situation where I have to keep my money with anyone, so I have always been good. I don’t trust anyone with my money except my mom so I didn’t have any reason to worry. But people trust me with their money a lot, I have met a lot of people who just knew me for a minute and immediately trusted me with their money. But that can’t be me, I am not ready to test anyone’s trust by leaving my money with them.

Although most of the people around me haven’t proven that they can’t be trusted, I am just the one who have trust issues with leaving my money with people. The moment my money leaves my control, I start becoming anxious, for no particular reason, just the thought of knowing that I don’t have control over my money anymore makes me anxious. If I can’t access it, I won’t feel okay. Meanwhile I have friends that don’t have a problem with leaving huge sum of money with me at all. I used to be the one begging them to take their money back because the money feels like a burden. Because I have liquidity that aren’t mine, I find myself spending them on things then replacing them.

What goes through these kind of people’s mind when leaving their money with people they trust? I wouldn’t want to be an anxious state especially for something I can’t control, but if I had no other choice, I guess I will just have to use the opportunity and the experience to learn how to trust people with my money.

For me, I tend to extrapolate in to investment firms or fund managers, managing all these funds of wealthy individuals, how do they sleep at night lol, when we live in a volatile financial environment. I have a bit of a trust issue with parting away with my own money and giving it to other people, but if they've proven to know what they're doing, then I tend to be fine with it.
