Investing Is Like Dating

Don’t you sometimes think of the properties of investing and how they are kind of related? When you have been single for a long time and you decide it’s the right time to go into relationship we can agree that it feels like that when we are thinking of choosing an asset. When you are searching for a partner to be in a relationship with, you tend to ask questions like what their past relationship was like, why are they single? This can be equivalent to looking at the past price chart of a coin to see if the price reduced over time due to the bear market, or it had a massive big rug or dump, just so it can help your judgement to know if it’s worth investing.

When you finally choose a partner to be with, your expectations towards that partner increase. You expect to have a good loving relationship with them and hope to have life changing experiences with them, although we know that relationship is not expected to be all smooth and rosey, but the main aim is at the end of the day, it should be worth it. Just like investing, even though the value ranges up and down, we hope and expect that at the end of the day, the asset we invest in will be worth and make us life changing wealth. Just the same way we have future high price expectations on Hive, some one predicted Hive getting to $100 price in five years. I love that Optimism, even though it seems far fetched right now, but the Optimism is great.

When our partners are meeting our expectations and giving us what we expected, this feels like getting interest profit on what you invested on an investment. When you have been in a relationship for some time and they are not giving you what you want or what you expected, you start having doubts and start considering taking your loss and pulling out.
