JamboPhone Airdrop: Half Miss Half Hit

February 2024 I saw a post on Twitter about some crypto phone tweeted by Aptos chain official Twitter account. I saw what Solana mobile did, the mobile phone that gave people over $1k airdrop. So I ordered the Jambo phone which was advertised as an Aptos phone. I didn’t want to miss out like I did on the Solana mobile. I spent $120 Ordering the phone, I think $99 or $100 was for the phone and the rest was for shipping. I got the phone after few days and that was so shocking and surprising because I never expected it.

I finally got the phone, I tried using it but it wasn’t great. What did I expect from a phone that cost less than $150, the camera was poor, the phone lagged. So I set the phone up and abandoned it in my house. Last week Jambo announced it will be launching a token and will be airdroping the token to Jambo Phone owners, but the biggest shocker was, the token will be launched on Solana. Not Aptos the chain where the phone was once advertised to be its primary chain.

The airdrop came today, and it was worth $81, that’s $39 away from the money I spent getting the phone, but if I want to make myself feel better I will say the phone only cost $39. So it’s a half hit.
