MODE Airdrop Hunting

Mode has an ongoing airdrop hunting program where you interact on the chain, earn points and these points will be converted to token and airdropped to you. There was a MODE testnet which gave testnet participants some MODE points, but that was for testnet activities, now the mainnet is here, you have to transact on the chain to earn points. MODE is a layer 2 blockchain platform on Ethereum, like other layer 2 networks, I see nothing special about MODE.

Before you embark on this mode airdrop point accumulation journey, know that you have to spend money transacting on the chain and its not a financial advise. Two months ago, ZKFair, a ZK rollup chain came up with something like this, it launched its mainnet and did an airdrop point activity where you bridge USDC to the ZKFair chain to earn ZKF, I participated in the testnet so I got the testnet point. I felt participating in the airdrop bridging point was too risky. Imagine spending $100 bridging, then getting $50 worth of airdrop. Fortunately for the ones that bridged, spending $100 gas fee bridging gave them over $1,500 worth of airdrop. ZKFair activity lasted for less than a week, but MODE retroactive airdrop activity is on for more than a month.

When you click on the MODE link, go to the airdrop section to view your points, if you dont have any points and you will want to partcipitae, you can start by bridging, bridge from native ETH to MODE ETH. Inviting friends gives you points, exploring the ecosystem lets you earn 2X points too. This project will be launching in March or April, I am not sure about the exact date. I have previously invested $30 to farm the current point I have, i am about to invest another $30 to farm more point, but after this point farming, I wont be farming more points till the project launches.
