Project’s Launch & Their Faith Now

avatar

Is now the best time to launch any project? The market is really bad. We have seen a lot of projects get launched and they accomplish a lot in terms of trading volume and price action. Then we have seen other projects launch and never saw the up movement, they have been hitting every low they could possible find. I have 10 tokens in my portfolio that ever since I bought them after I thought they had hit their all time low, I haven’t made a profit on them before. Selling them now would mean selling at a loss. When the market was in a hopeful bull run and we were seeing the price of crypto pump, people thought it was a perfect time to launch. They launched, some ended good, some ended bad, but why is that?

Pi is the only project I have seen that didn’t end up like the rest, Pi has gotten a stabilised price, it’s one project I know that matched its hype, it was hugely hyped and the price action and movement matched that. But why is it a bad idea once again for projects to launch right now? First when it launches and gives an airdrop, it’s a red season, people will need to pay bills or cover their past losses with the airdrop, so they will definitely sell. While they are selling the price is dumping and shorters are taking the advantage and shorting it heavily.

Most projects, 9 out of 10 usually end this way, so what would they do? Should they stop launching? Hyperliquid was able to defy this odd, launched with a very good airdrop and people didn’t sell instead it pumped for a very long time. Are we going to see any project defy this odd?

It's like a never-ending cycle - projects launch and struggle to gain traction in a bad market, while others manage to break the mold.
