The Market And The Product

Do you think iPhone is better than android? This is the argument that has been going on for a very long time, but when it comes to demand, iphone is known for having a higher demand, its always been iPhone against other android phones. But is iPhone really better than android phones? In marketing we have seen a lot of products that dont do half of what better products do sell better, while greater and better products sell less because of the marketing behind it. This is the reason a lot of companies spend more money on advertising than on the product they are advertising,, because what’s the point on having products without the people to buy it.

In business, the best product doesn’t always win, but the product that markets itself more has the product with the solution wins. In business, it’s always a situation of let the best product marketer win. This because, marketing is psychological, it’s always all about the marketing that can attract the best customers. Lets look at the red bull product, I haven’t tasted red bull in my life, I have no idea how it tastes like, but I heard red bulls gives you wings. Lol, obviously not, but I see the advertisement every where, I am not an energy drink drinker but I know that if I were to be one, I would choose red bull.

I have been using iPhone for the past 6 years and I have not seen any reason to use android, not because I think iPhone is better than android, but because of the marketing. I have been using android phone before I switched to iPhone, they are lots of things the android phone can do that the iPhone cant do, but when it comes to marketing and hype, iPhone is great at that. Everyone knows the date an iPhone is supposed to launch or the next iPhone about to launch, on the day the new iPhone gets unveiled, everyone is talking about it. But how many people know what the next android best product or the time it will launch? This just shows that marketing is essential when trying to sell a product.
