The World Of Luxury & Design
Have you heard of the Stanley cup? The Stanley cup is a regular looking thermo mug jug that when seen won’t be recolonized as something flashy or luxurious, but guess what? It’s a status symbol now, when people see you with a Stanley cup, they think you are wealthy, just how people use iPhone as the luxurious brand phones, making other phones not as relevant as the iPhone even though we all know that there is no special thing about iPhones and iPhones are not way better than other phones, and iPhones are just better with branding, marketing and over hyping. This just try to show you how the world works with what we call luxury and lifestyle.

We see this in cars and other luxury items, I see some cars and I wonder, why does this car cost so much, then we get told that it’s because they are fast cars, okay? And so what? What if I don’t want to go fast? So for that extra fast performance, makes it cost 10X more than regular cars? And we have seen less expensive cars that are more durable and probably more aesthetically appealing than the luxurious ones. One thing I will say is for sure that most luxurious expensive cars are not common and limited, especially robbery because of how expensive and pricey they are.
Now let’s come to fashion, balenciaga has proven how much people usually choose branding as luxurious over what is supposed to be common sense. Not just balenciaga, other clothing brands like Gucci, why are they tagged luxurious? Because of the branding, quality mediocre products when branded are tagged luxurious. You could see a quality mediocre product and be like “this product is good, worth a decent price” but the moment you see the branding, your perception will change.
