Today”s Diary On Airdrop Hunting

Dear crypto diary, this was how I wanted to start my post today, but that will make me really dramatic right? Well, today is a great day, but I had a higher expectations towards the layer3 airdrop. Layer3 is a project I have always supported and loved for a very long time, since I discovered it in 2022. It was a platform that helps you interact with other platforms, these interactions can help you be eligible to certain airdrops. It was all going smoothly until they introduced a cube minting program where after every tasks you mint a cube, each cube cost $0.25, I have minted 203 this means I have spent $50 minting the cubes, I have done over 500 quest, so I was expecting at least over $1,000 airdrop. Sadly the project kept announcing and encouraging more people to participate, and this reduced the profit per participant in the reward pool.

The project finally launched its token, I got 2400 L3 token, was expecting at least, $0.5 price, unfortunately, it launched at $0.98, which is a not so good price for a project, that lots of people had higher expectations of, giving me $237 worth of airdrop for a project I spent over that doing their tasks. While being optimistic on the next airdrop, which is Lava airdrop, I got a notification from the lava twitter tweeting that the Lava mainnet had launched. In my experience, lava had all the features other successful crypto projects had, so I was very optimistic about LAVA, sadly LAVA disappointed its community by launching at a very disrespectful price. Which made the community angry.

If you are thinking of participating in any crypto airdrop platform, I am here to tell you that the experience is not smooth , it will test your patience, especially when projects launch at ridiculous prices and disappoint you, or projects that farm their communities for month.
