Was The Dogs Airdrop Hype A Disappointment?
The Dogs airdrop fever is here and it’s finally over and in my conclusion I will say the hype was what killed it. Was the airdrop significantly good, yes it was, but the hype killed it. I got about $95 from Notcoin airdrop can’t remember because it’s been a while, but I sold at $63, I was more satisfied with that price because the hype was low compared to dogs. It was the first time people would earn through telegram for free. I really didn’t mind because I spent $0 doing it even though most times the tasks required is tapping in just your screen.
Dogs came with something different, link your existing telegram account with the bot and get some dogs. This is new so I didn’t expect anything, after about a week or two, they introduced some tasks which included some social activities, quite easy to do so I didn’t see it as a big deal. But these tasks created more exposure and more people started talking about Dogs. This then created a hype and made a lot of us speculate the price to be higher. Binance created more hype by announcing its listing and we expected higher value.
Dogs launched today with MEXC being the first exchange and the price was at the expected price but most people already sent their Dogs to other exchanges that were listing at 12 PM UTC, MEXC listed before that time. When other exchanges listed 10x lesser. Well it was worth it but the hype got us over expecting.
