Why Are People Against AI?
AI means artificial intelligence, this means intelligence that is made by man. This artificial intelligence is expected to be like that of humans, but better because, humans are limited to how many information they can disperse at a time. This is because, other factors are affecting humans and how they think. Some people are sharper on the spot, while some take some time to function properly. But using an AI, you are given varieties of options under 60 seconds. This helps increase your productivity and also gives you the opportunity to learn more. AI gives you access to millions of information and makes it easy to learn from them. You can also interact with AI as a human and get some human compassion or let the AI see things from whatever point of view you want it to see it.

But recently, the use of AI has made a lot of people lazy and stopped them from creatively using their brain to do things. Why stress yourself and do something when AI can do that for you. This makes hardwork and honest work impossible to attain. Imagine Doctors who are responsible for people’s lives in the future use AI to do all their works and research without reading them before submitting. The reason you are been given projects and researches in college is so you can learn from them they will help you develop in whatever you want to be in your career. This creates honest work, honest workers, honest doctors, honest engineers.
But in a situation where you use AI to do all your assignments and research in college without studying and graduate using AI, you almost don’t deserve the degree. The AI you used deserves it, using Google back in the days seemed like AI, but Google is different, Google is like a digital library at your fingertip. You literally have to find whatever you are looking for, read them to find the answers of what you are looking for before writing them and submitting them. But today with AI you can just input the question with prompts on how you want the AI to answer it and it will give you your desired answers. You can choose to read it or not, who cares, AI is always right. This is seen as cheating and not considered honest work. But this is just part of AI’s disadvantage, it has a lot of advantages too that makes life easier.

While on the one hand, I think that laziness will increase, I think that stress will decrease and there will be happier people. I hope the benefits can outweigh things that could be considered harmful. I think the next 50 years will determine this.
I think with AI progress, our thinking skills will probably keep on deteriorating as most of it will be outsourced to AI. But overall, the good seems to outweigh the bad, especially when one is intentional about how they use this tool.
