This was everyone's first experience with the changes to rankeds and this generated some dissatisfaction, because players have encountered many Max Level decks during their climb. This dissatisfaction with the changes has caused players to leave the game, understanding that they will no longer be able to move up.
Matt had warned that this was expected, as the level limit was removed, players who couldn't use these cards can now, not to mention that they improved their cards a lot precisely because of this, thinking about these changes, so it was something likely to happen. Thus, the level of difficulty and complexity of the game increases overall.
What we have to observe is whether this will continue this way, because the expectation was that players with stronger cards would move up the leagues and leave a gap for players from lower level decks to move up next. This gradual rise for everyone is what is expected from the team as the seasons go by. After all, the resets of the strongest players will tend to be higher and they will duel among themselves and not in the lower leagues, unless they are bad players, because then the card level in the deck doesn't work miracles lol.

With the end-of-season rewards and the latest daily chests, you could give your account's Soulbound cards a good upgrade. Some cards I managed to level were FireCaller, Fungus, Dumacke Orc, Venari Marksrat and PyreWatch Devil. Still, there are some cards that just need to be leveled up and that I use a lot, namely War Pegasus from Light's team and Coastal Sentry, very useful in games with Reach. Next, I will give a quick overview of some of them.
In total, there were 59 silver chests in EOS and this guaranteed some cards for upgrades, but I also managed to get some gold foil versions of Gobson and Riverboat Captain. In relation to SPS it was a low amount of 12.7x SPS and in values it was $0.31.
It's good to remember that this was a season of adaptation and also the first time I arrived at Gold League, I hope this next season can be much better in terms of rewards and gameplay.

The funny thing is that in my daily reward yesterday I got almost double the SPS than what came in 59 EOS silver chests. Totaling 23x SPS and a value of almost 60 cents. But this has an explanation, yesterday's focus was Sneak and there are cards that are very flexible with sneak like Uraeus, so we could receive extra rewards because of that.
It's funny that this Focus issue didn't even matter to me that much, since I believe that everyone tries to put the best team possible to win the matches, but after the team revealed that this will be replaced later and there will be no more focus, I started to give pay more attention to this.

One of the cards I managed to level recently was PyreWatch Devil, with the rewards from yesterday's chest. He went to level 2, gaining +1 Speed. However, this is a card that I don't see being used in the game, I would say I've never seen it used in real life. Not to mention that the Attack is low and in the Fire element I like to use Melees more, so it won't be a card I'm going to use anytime soon.

Cards that have the Martyr ability are very good, because the buff it grants when defeated is +1 to all additional units' stats. That's why I managed to put the Venari Marksrate at level 2 and the Fungus Flinger at 4, it's a very good upgrade. Because they gain more HP and Speed, which makes them last a little longer and as they are generally used to tank some hits, this helps a lot. Because they receive different skills from lvl 5 onwards.

Essa foi a primeira experiência de todos com as mudanças na rankeds e isso gerou algumas insatisfações, porque os jogadores tem encontrado muitos decks Max Level durante a sua subida. Essa insatisfação com as mudanças tem feito com que jogadores deixem o jogo, por entender que não vão conseguir mais subir.
O Matt havia alertado que isso era esperado, como o limite de nível foi removido os jogadores que não podiam usar essas cartas agora podem, sem falar que muito melhoraram as suas cartas justamente por isso, pensando nessas mudanças, então era algo provável de acontecer. Assim, o nível de dificuldade e complexidade do jogo aumenta no geral.
O que temos que observar é se isso vai continuar dessa forma, porque o esperado era que os jogadores com cartas mais fortes subam os ligas e deixem um gap para jogadores de decks de niveis mais baixos possam subir em seguida. Essa subida gradual de todos é o que se espera por parte da equipe conforme as temporadas vão passando. Afinal, os resets dos jogadores mais fortes vão tender a ser mais acima e eles duelar entre eles e não lá nas ligas mais baixas, a menos que eles sejam jogadores ruins, porque aí nível de carta no deck não faz milagre rs.

Uma das cartas que eu consegui upar recentemente foi o PyreWatch Devil, com as recompensas do báu de ontem. Ele foi para level 2, ganhando +1 de Speed. Entretanto, essa é uma carta que eu não vejo sendo usada no jogo, eu diria que nunca vi usarem ela na real. Sem falar que o Ataque é baixo e no elemento de Fire eu gosto mais de usar Melees, então não vai ser uma carta que eu vá usar tão cedo.

As cartas que tem a habilidade Martyr são muito boas, porque o buff que ele concede ao ser derrotado é +1 em todos os stats das unidades adicionais. Por isso que consegui colocar o Venari Marksrate no nível 2 e o Fungus Flinger no 4, é um upgrade muito bom. Por que eles ganham mais HP e Speed, o que faz eles durarem um pouco mais e como geralmente são usados para tankar alguns hits isso ajuda bastante. Até porque as habilidades diferentes, eles recebem a partir do lvl 5.
