• Engagement tkes many forms, but on social media it is reaching out and connecting with nother human being.

• But in the virtual word you don't actually touch people, you engage them through comments, threads and content.

Like, Comment and Share

• 

• Like, Comment and Share was a popular phrase on the Hive Precursor Steemit, but oddly enough I rarely see it on Hive and I don't know why, it's a good phrase.
• Like, Comment and Share

Comment on posts and work on your comments like they are posts

• Comments are what I cnsider the core activityfor new members to perform. Leaving thoughtful comments and questions makes you stand out, not just for the content creator whose content your reading, but also for others who read the content, they will note and may read your comment, so make it good. Address some aspect of the post as rephrase or paraphrase or direct quote and state why it was meaningful to you. Or better yet ask a question. The idea is to engage the author so you go from an unknown person to the guy or gal commenting on their posts on a regular basis. Soon your not a stranger, but an acquaintance, and soon you will be a friend...virtual friend, but since we spend so much of our spare, social time online in the virtual world, virtual friends are becoming real friends, plus you can meet them in the flesh at meetups.
  Lastly, remember you can comment, read a reply, comment again, and just like a real conversation.

Thread and Comment on Threads

• Threads, are becoming the most frequent form of content created on Inleo because it's fast and everyone can do it. So Threads present both the opportunity to make content, but more importantly a chance to reply to the Thread with a comment.
• Posts, are considered last, because I think it's hard for newbies to build an audience, network or friend group wrigint posts because it's hard to get people to visit your blog when they don't know you exist. So you need to reach out via comments on posts, or comments on threads to let people know you exist. Then they may look up your blog and read your posts. Once this happens, remember your not done, you have to keep going bak to read newer posts, make comments and interact via comments with other peoples comments. Take advantage of the comment section on any article you really like, to engage with people who like the same topic, thus you will potentially enjoy each others content, be it comments or pots. Ironically, people pay good money to Facebook for filtered leads like this, and you can get list for free by reading the comments of articles you like and engainging those people.

• Sharing is caring. It lets the Content creator know that you like their content so much, your sharing it with your friends.
• A great relationship builder, for both the content creator and yourself, as it is a marketing strategy for you and exposure for the author.

• The bottom line is you need to be social on this social media platform. Engage or Interact with other accounts, reach out and introduce yourself, write comment quations or words of appreciation and Get Well Soonnotes go along way towards building a relationship.
