Scaling

  • If you read enough business magazines you will find articles on the necessity of scaling to be successful.
  • The math is simple, if you have ten customers earning you a dollar you have ten dollars. but if you have a thousand customers earning you a dollar, now you have a thousand dollars. Now your successful.

My Scaling Story

When I ran the No Loss Lottery I took a very small percentage of the earnings and gave the rest away as prizes. At first it wasn't worth my while, just a few Leo. But I knew if I could move beyond 4-5 people it would payoff. By the time I closed down the No Loss Lottery 2 years later I had over 100 people who had bought over 10,000 tickets. I was making a fair amount of Leo and it was more then worth my while. The difference was scaling. Once I was able to increase from 5 to 10, 10 to 20, 20 to 40 and eventually 100 people the business was profitable and the customers were happy. scaling increased not only my share, but the size of the prizes also. This kept people invested, and happy.

Hive and Inleo need to scale up

  • Those of us who are on Hive and Inleo know we have a great blockchain and great projects built on it. But not enough users compared to profitable Web 2.0 businesses like twitter or YouTube to name two.
  • We need to grow, and that means attracting people from outside our ecosystem to Hive, by showing them what we can do here to grow their business or community.
  • Inleo previously known as Leofinance is doing just that. Inleo is focused on MAU or Monthly Active Users, and is focused on Web 2.0 places where crypto affictionados hand out Twitter, now called X and YouTube to name two.

Friday, October 10th @khaleelkazi will be on the Dash Podcast on YouTube

  • This will be viewed by many in the Dash Community and they will hear a guest talk of the synergies between Hive and Dash.
  • Dash is focused on being money, or Fast Cash, and Dash already has a DAO with funding for development.
  • Dash doesn't have a social media layer, and therefore many of the things Hive does.
  • so Hive and Dash can have good synergy.

Do you think we will see an influx of users following from this talk? I hope so! I feel like Hive despite being around for many years is still under the radar.

I think so.
I think they will be curious and if they find out they can join for free they will be tempted to sign up and look around.
