Crownrend - My impressions
The number and quality of decentralized applications in the Hive ecosystem is increasing day by day. The interest in gaming, social and NFT applications seems to be quite high. While everyone is waiting for the Holozing game, the surprise announcement of the strategy game Crownrend was made two weeks ago. It was a surprise for me at least because I heard about the game for the first time. We can understand that the interest in the game is quite high from the transfers in the Crownrend wallet and the DENAR/Hive trading volume in the hive-engine.
In Crownrend, a strategy game, increasing your army stats as much as possible will protect you from raids and make you more successful when attacking other kingdoms. As you can see from the stats, the thing I care about the most is Army Toughness.
Toughness may not work against a strong army. I got 7.30 DENAR in this raid. All of them were unclaimed DENAR. If there were a few more unclaimed tokens, they would all be looted in the raid. Because the critical hit rate is quite high. Also, since other army stats are superior, the kingdom's profit is doubled.
In some cases, you can lose the war even if your army power is higher than the toughness of the opposing kingdom. This is because the kingdom's other statistics are high. I was the one who lost the war even though I attacked a week ago. I would like to show this, but the records from 1 week ago cannot be accessed.
In order to open a chest in the game, you need to have 100 denars. I opened a chest about a week ago. An item that increases trade power came. You had to have some ORI to be able to strengthen it. Also, since it was not an item that fit my strategy, I sold it on the marketplace for 53 hives.
A valuable item coming out of the chest will help your kingdom reach very impressive statistics. The probability of a very valuable item is around 4-5%. Is it worth spending 1000 denars? I think it is. Deathwing has put this valuable item up for sale for 2000 hives. If he burns the item, he will earn 0.39937 ORI.
ORI is a very valuable token because it is very hard to obtain and there is little in circulation. Hive-engine 1 ORI is exchanged for 1450 hives. Approximately $610.
Crownrend is a constantly updated game. It is a very simple and easy to play game. I think it wouldn't be bad if there were a few sound effects in the game. For example, if there were sound effects when claiming, being attacked, or receiving critical hits, the game could be a little more exciting.
There is not much sales pressure on DENAR right now. In the future, a minimum withdrawal limit and withdrawal fee may be imposed to reduce sales pressure.
