Rabbit Pet: One way to Relieve My Stress

Pets are one of the best partners that we had. Just like dogs that they are loyal to us even if we are hated by the society or people around us. These pets can be our best friends, a best buddy that you can talk to even if they can't talk back to you, and they can be our stress reliever.

I've never imagined that my brother will grow a pet in our backyard because we don't have any pets after I got bitten by a dog before in my grandmother's house. This pet rabbit of my brother was given by his friend because he started to like to have a pet.

At first, he only got this white rabbit and here we that this rabbit is a female but it's the opposite. It was a male, then on the next month, my brother requested to give him a female rabbit so that they will breed in the future and then his friend gave him another 3 rabbits to breed for himself. He was very happy and I am, too because we have now another member of a family which are these three rabbits.

These rabbits grow rapidly as months go by and we decided to put these rabbit into our backyard with fence so that they will not get out from it because there was a time that two of the rabbits were got out from the fence and went to another house. So, we put some fence so that they will not get out, I think it is better that we put these rabbits into our backyard rather than putting them in a cage because they cannot move properly if they will be inside a cage.

My father also takes care of them just like his pet, he feeds these rabbits like he will give him some grass at night because these rabbits like to eat grass or something like leaves. Sometimes we give them banana leaves.

Today, I went go see these rabbit and I was shocked that these rabbits were as big as their mother. Before I went to see these rabbits, I pick some mangoes from the fridge to some of it and I plan to give the rest of the mangoes that I have eaten to give it to the rabbit. These mangoes are not as sweet as the normal mangoes because it's a small kind of a mango and we call it "Paho" and I think it means that a small kind of a mango.

There are a couple of them that were eating the mangoes that I gave them and here I thought that there only a few of them but they were many. There are 7 rabbits in total and they are the same color as the other. The rabbit that I like the most is this orange one, it's cute and fluffy. Whenever I tried to touch this orange one, it will go far away from it because I think its frightened.

I was happy that I gave them food and I do that whenever I feel like I want to relieve from my stress at work or something else. Most of the times, it's really good to have a pet because I can burst out the things that I want to say even if they don't understand I feel relieve after bursting out what I want to burst while patting them.

After a couple of minutes watching and talking to them, I felt great. Sometimes I also play with them because It's fun to play with them like tagging or catching them. They can hop fast while I am trying to catch one of them and sometimes I can't catch them. There were other rabbits that I can casually pat using my hand but there were others that don't want to be patted just like my favorite rabbit that don't want to be patted and sometimes I surrender on catching and patting it because whenever it feels that I will be near it, it will hop as far away from my place.
